How we work

Ballot questions are written in language most people can't follow. Campaigns tell you what to think about them. We do neither. We put each question in plain English, show what each side says in its own words, and show where they actually agree.

The rules

No endorsements. Ever. We never tell you how to vote on a question or a candidate.

The real words come first. Every page shows the ballot wording exactly as printed, with a link to the official source.

Both sides, same space. Each side gets its strongest arguments, quoted from its own people, at close to the same length. We show the word count so you can check.

Every claim is sourced. If we can't link to it, it doesn't go on the page. Every quote is checked word for word against the page it came from.

The middle is built from facts. The middle section lists what both sides agree on, what's actually being decided, and what each side leaves out. It's not our opinion of who's right.

Who's behind this

A regular voter in South Carolina who's tired of both sides. No party, no campaign and no donors. We use AI tools to help gather sources and draft pages, and a person checks every quote and number against its source before anything goes up.
